One of the archaeological museums founded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the Al-Jawf Museum. The Omar Bin Al-Khattab Mosque and the castle of Marid are both found in one of the most well-known archaeological cities, which also houses the Al-Jawf Museum. The museum's design considered the archaeological and heritage identity of the Al-Jawf region.


It is a modern, one-floor building, with an area of approximately 3600m2, located in the center of Dumah Al-Jundal, next to the archaeological site. It includes many monuments and heritage collections illustrating aspects of the Al-Jawf civilization.


This museum contains many antiquities and heritage collections that show many aspects of the Al-Jawf civilization. This museum includes all the antiquities and history of the region according to their historical sequences, starting from pre-history ages to the emergence of early civilizations until reaching the modern era, including the traditional handicrafts and industries that takes into consideration the inclusiveness of defining the history of the region.


It also conducts programs that showcase items of the past. These programs target all age groups and levels of the visitors of this museum. This museum is unique in its focus on social, cultural, and scientific events that it hosts. It is a civil monument that stimulates tourist and cultural activities.
