Vasco da Gama, a Portuguese explorer, found Kappad beach in the 15th century. It is situated in the state of Kerala in the south of India, approximately 16 kilometres away from Kozhikode.

Because it is tucked away from the commotion of the city, it is the perfect beach vacation destination for those looking to unwind and take it easy.

The landscape of the beach is comprised of several coconut groves, as well as long stretches of silvery sand that are drenched by foamy surf that lullsically rolls up and down the shores. The beach is dotted with fascinating rock formations on all of its sides.

It is one of the most well-known beaches in the region, and it is located only 16 kilometres away from Calicut in India. The beach is also known as Kappakadavu beach.
