San Agustin Church

San Agustin Church, found within the city of Intramuros in Metro Manila, is often regarded as the Philippines' oldest church. The church, which was recently designated as a World Heritage Site, is a prime example of the Baroque style of architecture. The Roman Catholic church, constructed between 1587 and 1606, is home to the San Agustin Museum and the burial places of many notable people from history, including conquistadors, politicians, artists, and more. The huge exterior is decorated with the most exquisite ornate details. The ancient church was a tangible reminder of the four centuries when Spain ruled the country. The current structure is the third one to stand, where seven earlier ones collapsed after big earthquakes.
